RHZ Kickstarter

Check it out! We have just launched our Kickstarter today and already made it halfway to our goal! Once we are funded we’ll be able to provide new merchandise and make sure that the 2014 Awards are absolutely amazing! If you’d like to donate or support the cause check out our Kickstarter page and share with your friends. Even if sharing is the most you can do to help, we’d still appreciate it and your support goes a long way.

P.S. This video filmed by our good friend Bunny Williams from Undead Cow Productions!

RHZ Awards – Submissions Are Open!

Alright ladies and gents! It’s that time of year again, which means we’re ramping up for the 2014 RHZ Awards by rounding up the best art and music in Colorado that 2013 has to offer! It’s free to enter and everyone who does will become a featured nominee on our website! The winners will be chosen by votes cast by the citizens of Colorado, and if you do win, you’re work will be showcased at our Live RHZ Awards at Sunshine Studios on January 31st! So if you’re interested check out our rules and entry form on our Submissions page!

This year the categories have changed up a bit to make voting a bit more balanced. You can choose which category you’d like to be nominated in and send us your entry for it. Don’t wait too long though, submissions close on January 1, 2014. So if you’ve got original content you’d like to share with the people of Colorado (and possibly the world) send us your best work of 2013!

The Rogue Spirits
The Epic Weatherman
Santa Muerte
and Storylines!

So come out to support a good cause and enjoy some good music at one of the coolest spots downtown! We’ll see you there!!!

Thanks for coming out!

Last Friday was a ton of fun! We had a lot of talented performers, including Animus Invidious and Emp!re City who were playing the RHZ for the first time, and we also had some kick ass original and cult-fave costumes! I’m sorry we couldn’t pick more winners because I was digging a lot of the costumes. During the show our good friend Bunny was taking interviews with the RHZ Crew and members of the audience to help us put together a promotional video for our kickstarter project which will be launching soon. The focus of this fundraiser will be raising money to fund new and improved merchandise for fans of the Redheaded Zombie Gal and giving us a chance to make 2014′s RHZ Awards even bigger and better than before!

Now that we’re an official business, we’re taking steps forward to show you that we can be professional and productive as we continue to build on Colorado’s creative community and still have a good time doing it. If you’d like to be a part of that, your chance will come soon!

The Redheaded Zombie Show is an official company!

Redheaded Zombie Productions will be our way of bringing new and creative talent to the eyes and ears of the people of Colorado Springs! There’s still a lot to do before we’re known throughout Colorado, but I’m glad to take on this adventure with all of you and the rest of the RHZ crew. Now from a professional standpoint, we have access to many more resources now and in the future we’ll even be able to hire employees to help maintain and strengthen this company. We’re very excited about this opportunity and you can celebrate with us on October 25th for our annual Halloween Costume Bash! It’s going to be our biggest show before the end of the year and it’s just a good excuse to dress up and party, so why wouldn’t you come along? I’ll have more details soon, but for now…VIVA LA RHZ!!! 8^P

Thank You!!!

Hey guys and gals, just wanted to say thanks for making last week’s show such a great event. We had great performances from Oh Cap, Cliff Letters, Tommy Rat, Passing Out On Porches and it was a pleasure to perform for you with A Bad Night For A Hero! Hopefully you all got your fill of our RHZ cake because it went extremely fast and if you missed any of the acts we’ll be uploading live footage to Youtube very soon!

In the meantime we’ll be making minor updates to the site and preparing for our Halloween show coming Oct. 25th!

RHZ Show! Friday @ The Coffee Exchange

This month at The Redheaded Zombie Show, we’re celebrating the joyous births of some extremely awesome dudes. I won’t say names, but obviously they’re just so cool that they wanted to throw an awesome birthday party and invite everyone in Colorado Springs! To help us celebrate we’ve got live performances from:

Timmy Vilgiate
Oh Captain, My Captain
Passing Out On Porches
Tommy Rat’s Sideshow
and A Bad Night For A Hero

So it goes without saying this will probably be one of the coolest birthday shows ever (and the after party will be even better) *ahem*
All of which means you should be at the Coffee Exchange on September 20th right around 7PM. And don’t forget your party hats…
