Blotch is the collaborative name for Teagan Gavet and Tess Garman, who have been working as a team since 2006. Tess Garman paints and has a degree in wildlife and scientific illustration, while Teagan Gavet, who sketches, has experience with character and animation designs.
Together, they make good use of their talent and know-how to create their unique anthropomorphic characters. Their recently published book Nordguard: Across Thin Ice is a perfect example of their art and storytelling skills, and is the first in a trilogy. I highly recommend checking it out for yourself.
Charly LaGreca is a former Disney animator and creator of popular kids comic, “The Hair Pair.” He’s also the creator and host of the podcast “Indie Spinner Rack,” which showcases indie comics and their creators. Charly is also a Co-Director of the Denver Comic Con as well. That’s just a taste of what this great artist has accomplished in his career!
Dan Connor is the creator of Heaven Forbid, a humorous comic following the exploits of various characters and the band “Chelsea and the Turkish Delights.” Dan is also the editor of graphic novels for Christian publishing company, Lamp Post Inc, and the editor of the anthology project Toned: Black and White Stories.
Jason Montoya is a skilled artist who utilizes both traditional and digital methods. He creates comics under the Themis Comix brand, but also works to help others with their own creative needs.
Jennifer Lotharius is a lovely artist studying for a degree in Digital Media Design. Besides creating her own comic, Jen designs websites in her free time.

Joe Oliver – Official
Joe Oliver is a freelance artist who went to school for animation and discovered his love for illustration instead. Working on various projects from fliers to album covers, Joe brings his unique style to his projects and is currently working with Ryan Davis on the Velvet Garden comic series.
Langdon Foss – Official
Langdon Foss is well known for his unique style of drawing and has worked for companies such as DC, White Wolf, and Wizards of the Coast. Very recently, he did the art for the graphic novel, “Get Jiro,” written by Anthony Bourdain.
Leslie Armagost – Official
Leslie is a sculptor who makes custom jewelry, props, and costumes for a living. And she doesn’t just make clothes for people, either, she makes clothes for BJDs! Don’t know what those are? Why don’t you ask her?
Mario Rocha – Official
Mario is not only an artist but a musician as well. He is the mastermind behind Funckthenwo, a band and blog. His mission is to use his creative talents to bring fulfillment and understanding to those around him.
Matt Campbell – Official
Matt Campbell is the creator of Mythica. He has published other books, such as Electron Boy, Station 39, and Sammy Sunshine and the Sinister Sheik. Matt also teaches at the Bemis School of Art with the intent to provide younger artists with the tools to break into the industry.
Nathanial Hamel is an illustrator who focuses on video games and comic art. He’s got a degree in Game and Art Design and teaches at the Dead Academy in Downtown Denver.
Rachelle Parker – Official
Rachelle attends the Rocky Mountain College of Art and Design and has been an artist her entire life. Rachelle strives to express herself through the beauty of art using various methods. Her fantastic art really speaks for itself.
Riki is a freelance illustrator whose talents range from b&w sketches to colorful murals. Though he works out of Pueblo, some of Riki’s art can be found in galleries as far as California, and his style is definitely noticeable. Influenced by Japanese cartooning and 50′s style animation, Riki has the ability to take something from his mind and draw it almost instantly with just a few sharpies!
Robert is a self-taught artist who works with a variety of mediums including pencil, color pencil, ink, watercolor, gouache, acrylic and digital. Robert’s artwork has appeared on the covers of several novels and anthologies from small-press horror authors and publishers, including Permuted Press and Tickling A Dead Man: Stories About George, by Robert Elrod. In addition to all this, he even draws his own webcomic, “Hellbound”!
Sarah is a fantastic artist with an impressive resume for someone her age. We won’t list it all here, but you can see for yourself at her official site. She’s also doing the color for “Velvet Garden,” another great local comic!

Stan Yan is a freelance illustrator who draws Subculture for Ape Entertainment among other activities, such as teaching at summer camps and after school programs, and writing/drawing his own webcomic “ReVVVelations.”
